Toronto feels a little quieter this weekend… but that’s only on the surface.
Without the big conventions or city-wide festivals, this is when the smaller organizers really shine - pop-ups, workshops, shows, and low-key events happening all across the city.
You just have to know where to look 👀
So with that said - here’s the scope on Toronto this weekend 👇
Toronto at a Glance
Mar 27 - 29
🏒 Downtown traffic:
Expect heavier congestion around Scotiabank Arena Saturday night (Leafs game), with busy pre/post-game windows (5-10 PM).
🏀 Friday night crowds:
The Raptors are at home Friday evening, so expect a spike in traffic and foot flow around Scotiabank Arena.
🚧 Major road closure (ongoing):
The stretch where College St becomes Carlton St (Bay → Yonge → Church) remains closed to vehicle and cyclist traffic. East-west travel through the core will be slower - reroute early.
🌦️ Friday: Cooler with a chance of light rain
🌤️ Saturday: Mild, mix of sun and clouds - solid exploring weather
☀️ Sunday: Brighter and slightly warmer - best day to be outside, park hangs are highly encouraged!
➡️ Pro tip:
This is a classic “start early, stay out” weekend - beat the crowds by heading out before peak hours and you’ll get a much better version of the city.
