Toronto is absolutely STACKT this weekend (and yes, that pun was super-intended 😝)
Ok but seriously..
Between ComicCon taking over the city, the Toronto Short Film Festival rolling through, Leafs Fan Day, Art Hunt 2026, and a ton of other pop-ups and events happening across neighbourhoods - it feels like everywhere you look, something’s going on.
This is one of those weekends where plans kind of make themselves… you just have to say yes to something.
So with that said - here’s the scoop on Toronto this weekend 👇
Toronto at a Glance
Mar 20 - 22
🚦 Downtown traffic:
Expect heavier congestion around Scotiabank Arena Friday night (Raptors game) and Saturday evening (Leafs game). Pre- and post-game windows (roughly 5-10 PM) will be the busiest in the core.
⚽ Toronto FC at home:
Toronto FC vs Chicago Fire - Saturday at 2:30 PM at BMO Field.
Expect increased traffic around Exhibition Place, Liberty Village, and Lakeshore West GO before and after the match.
🎬 City-wide activity spike:
Between ComicCon, Toronto Short Film Festival, and Art Hunt 2026, the downtown core will feel busier than usual - especially around the Convention Centre and west end.
🚧 Major road closure:
The stretch where College St becomes Carlton St (Bay → Yonge → Church) remains closed to vehicle and cyclist traffic. Plan alternate east–west routes.
🌦️ Friday: Mixed bag - light snow/rain early, clearing later
🌤️ Saturday: Mild, cloudy → some sun breaks (good roaming weather)
☀️ Sunday: Bright, sunny, and crisp - best day to be outside
