Toronto is doing the most this weekend and we’re absolutely here for it!

From fashion shows to food and drink festivals to vendor markets and beyond - there’s something for everyone this weekend.

Two updates from us:

🚨 We've officially added Luma to PlanMyFun - which means your event feed just got a whole lot better. Luma is where a lot of Toronto's most interesting, community-driven events live, and they're now surfacing right alongside everything else in the app 🥳

📲 We've also added Tech as a new events category. If you're into tech talks, panels, workshops, networking nights, demo days, or even just coworking sessions - it's all in there now.

More variety. Better recommendations. Same app. 🙏

Toronto at a Glance
April 17-19

🏃 Under Armour Toronto 10K on Saturday: Expect road closures and heavier pedestrian traffic around Nathan Phillips Square, King and Bay Streets from early morning through roughly late morning.

⚽️ Toronto FC game on Saturday: Expect traffic near Exhibition Place and Liberty Village.

🚧 Ongoing - Gardiner westbound: The westbound Gardiner from Park Lawn Road to Islington Avenue continues to see lane reductions as part of ongoing maintenance work. Budget extra time heading west out of downtown all weekend.

🚧 Ongoing - Queen Street East: Construction between Davies Avenue and Broadview Avenue continues, with one eastbound lane in effect. East-west movement through that stretch remains slower than usual.

🌦️ Friday: Around 13°C with only a 20% chance of rain - best day of the three. Great evening to be out.

🌧️ Saturday: Around 14°C but 45% chance of rain - maybe have a backup indoor plan.

☀️ Sunday: Data still coming in but shaping up to be drier - good timing for Barkada Mrkt at STACKT, or ReMode at the Evergreen Brick Works.
